To sum it up, associating products with Payment Intents / custom payment flows is what I want, on the server side

Hi, it looks like what you want is to Update the PaymentIntent with a metadata on the server side, https://stripe.com/docs/api/payment_intents/update#update_payment_intent-metadata.

ohhh actually everything is already in place

I forgot that we only share the client secret

#

which is used to complete payment

we don't actually share the meta data with the client

#
