Hi, dpeending on how you use Stripe, there are a couple of places where you'd need to turn this off. We document this here, https://support.stripe.com/questions/how-to-turn-off-link
I operate the connect account and our clients are connected into that account. I followed step 2 of that doc, step 1 shows it as disabled also. as of now it link still appers active on the checkout flow (~5 minutes since I made the change)
the platform utilizes the payment element to serve payments to customers
Can you confirm that you've logged out of our Link account? Can you share the URL of your Checkout Page and the connected account's id where you're still seeing Link?
I have not logged out. so each customer who has previously used link will still be presented as an option?
there is a test account you can use: https://trytn-webapp-booking-scus-staging.azurewebsites.net/en/stripeshop/
(some products have bad data, if an add to cart doesn't work just try another product). this has test mode enabled so test cards will work here
I do still see it in production as well in places I have not previously tried or used
Can you share the steps needed for me to get to your Checkout page? After I add an item to the cart, the cart is still empty
could you try again? all you should have to do is add an item to the cart to get to checkout
maybe try a different product to add
let me try
I finally for it working to where I can get to your checkout page. I do not see Link here
I still see it. here's an example in production:
here's an example from that test site:
Here is the full screenshot
Can you make sure that you clear your browser's cache and try again?
what specifically do I need to delete within my cache? is there a cookie or something in local storage?
Could you first log out of Link, clear your cookies on the browser? I'm trying to rule things out as I do not see Link anymore on that page.
Did it work?
