it's a bank debit payment right? So it stays pending for a few days until we know if the payment succeeded or failed

look at https://dashboard.stripe.com/payments/pi_3O7bEAGvfAYlgKKe163uTwNS for example, there's a clear section that says

The user has completed the payment and Stripe is waiting for the funds from their bank.

Yeap, back payment. That would mean the actual status of the invoice is that it still pending. Not failed, right?

How long is it until the payment either succeeds or fails? matter of minutes, hours or days?
