ok - I think that might be fine. So is the solution to not create a stripe_customer_id upon registration, but to wait until they actual make a purchase?
And do you know if that person then upgrades, say from Bronze to Silver tier, Stripe would recognise that same customer id?
well the best solution I think is to write to support since I think we have a beta for passing an existing Customer to the PricingTable
but without that, then the idea is you would not use PricingTable at all really, you would have a login page for the user on your site before the payments page and not show them the PricingTable if they have an existing subscription

not sure how to answer this; you can't upgrade a customer's subscription without already knowing their customer IDcus_xxx.
Can we get access to beta if we ask customer support?
