@crimson tiger that's mostly impossible. We always recommend that you price your own fees inclusive of our fees. The same way that we charge you a blended price, we don't charge you the exact fee based on the card brand for example

Right but how does one do that practically for all the countries that stripe supports

I mean the fee will be different based on card, location etc. so how do we take that into consideration - We want to charge 2.5% + payment processing fees from our merchants but not sure how to go about it

yeah that's my point, you shouldn't do that 🙂

We don't charge you Visa Fees, Amazon server storage fees + S3 + the plethora of other partners we use

so we recommend that you price your service fully inclusive of our fee

#

There is unfortunately no other alternative really

Hmm okay what if we detect the user's region and add fees based on their region, I guess that would work

I mean that won't really work since the fees depend on the exact payment method they use, whether the card is cross-border or not, whether FX happens, etc.
