Hello! Can you give me more details?
Hi karbi! I'm trying to do an integrations with stripe in our application
Our application collect payments and after a week have to pay some money to third party
Have you read through our connect docs and decided which kinds of connect accounts you're going to be working with?
Yes I think we can choose Standard or Express
Which one though? That's a pretty crucial decision which will affect how you integrate with Stripe
Express
Gotcha - then you'll need to read about destination charges (https://stripe.com/docs/connect/destination-charges) and separate charges and transfers (https://stripe.com/docs/connect/separate-charges-and-transfers)
I'm guessing you'll want separate charges and transfers based on what you've described, but read through both to make sure you understand
Out process will be:
1- We have a customer 1 interested in a property
2- They pay 1000 euros for the rent, plus our commission 100 euros in the same transaction
3- The user enter their credit card to our platform and we charge him 1100 euros
4- After a week the owner of the house sign the contract and accept the process
5- When they accept the process the owner enter their credit card
6- In this moment the platform has to transfer to the owner the rent amount, in this case 1000 euros
we want to integrate stripe with our home rental web platform
Yeah so that sounds like separate charges and transfers - I'd suggest reading through those docs to make sure you understand how it works
What about the step 5 that we want to pay one of our clients based on their credit card?
is it possible?
I don't think we'd accept a credit card, but the owner can provide a debit card or bank account that can be used to pay out funds
Does the owner have to register in Stripe, or can we do it via API as we do for charging?
They have to have an Express acount through Stripe
but do they have to enter to stripe and create an account?
it would be easy if we collect the bank account from the owner?
Have you read through the docs on Express onboarding/tried it on in test mode? With Express accounts it's expected that those account owners will have to input in some details to a hosted link that collects enough information to create an account

@wicked crag I'm sorry you seem quite lost with the basics of Connect onboarding. A lot of it is covered in a lot of details in our docs. Really you do need to carefully read the docs first to pick the right integration path
I would like to know if it's possible or not. If it's not possible I would choose any other platform
Unfortunately, we don't really understand what you're asking. So it's hard to tell you
Like for example you talked about Separate Charges and Transfers with @sacred plank which I already explained to you in details this morning. I also recommend you speak to support because you are quite lost about Connect and the business models and all of that. But you still seem confused and asking he same questions again
I'm asking the same questions because i got three differents answer koopajah
I'm here because I'm lost yes, I would appreciate if anyone can help me
I think our flow it's quite understandable
Please work directly with our support team for help 1:1 https://support.stripe.com/contact
We have explained a few times what to do but you need a better understanding of Connect first. This isn't the right place for you to get help by asking the same questions multiple times. I think you need deeper help 1:1 from our support team
Okay, thanks for not helping and making things a bit more confusing. The only thing I've gotten here are three different answers
