when connecting to the API, I got an error that said it would not allow credit card information because it was not secure. I am doing through sales force any recomendations?

We can only help with direct API integration questions here. We really don't know anything about these Connectors. However, there is a part of our Support team that specializes on supporting these Connector questions, so you really are going to be better off reaching out to our Support team about this.
Also you will likely want to verify you are using one of our Salesforce Connectors versus a third-party plugin.
If it is a third-party plugin, then you will need to reach out to that plugin owner for help.
