The sandbox we have the flow fully working, its just switching to the production account. we are having this error.
the account ID in production is the same one?
I believe so, let me just double check. (As we just use the sandbox toggle. Which I assume still have the same account ids)

Overall though I suggest reaching out directly to the Stripe employees you've been working with(and your company has a Slack channel with us, right?) or https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true for help with this. As far as I know there's a manual process to get Paypal to enable this(reference transactions) on your Paypal account and we've already been looking into that internally so it's best to connect with your account team, this channel is for anonymous dev/coding questions really

I will post in our slack channel. But with our Support person out of OOO he mentioned to post here. And we were asked in our slack channel not to ask technical questions there anymore. I will post in the slack channel since this may be an account configuration thing we need sorted as opposed to a dev error. Or so I hope ๐
thanks! ok so basically, as far as I understand this
- for this to work you need Paypal's "reference transactions" enabled on your Paypal account(https://www.paypal.com/bb/cshelp/article/what-are-reference-transactions-tokenization-ts1469)
- when you click the option in the Stripe Dashboard(the one the error message talks about https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods ), that triggers something on our end to go request that on your behalf
- in your case though since you're a marketplace, I think it's more complicated and there's a manual process involved, and someone started that a couple of weeks ago. I asked internally what the status of your application was but no reply yet. I really don't know, I don't work with any of this
so really I'd say
- if you haven't, enable this in your Dashboard like the error says
- if you're already done that, then reach out to Support(ticket at https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true or whatever your account team has indicated) so someone can work directly with you and the paypal teams to look into this
