Payment Intent is the outer object. It has a Charge object inside

I understand that charge has a ch or py prefix. However, there seems to be some differences as to what is shown on the stripe dashboard vs the transactions report i download. as you can see, one of them is listed as a payment on the dashboard, but when i download the report, it shows up as a charge instead. am i to assume that payment (not payment intent) and charge are terms used interchangably ?

Not really. py object is similar but not exactly or interchangeable to ch object. PaymentIntent (pi_xxx) is the outer object for both of them.

In Dashboard py or ch can say "payment", correct, but they are the inner object of a transaction
