No once invoices are paid, that's a terminal status

can you help with the second part of my question
additionally, the receipts for invoices manually marked as paid look wrong. the amount paid is showing as 0 and the full balance is remaining even if it shows as paid
the invoice is showed as paid on the dashboard but if you go to the receipt (which is also customer facing) it shows a balance
Yeah that's expected. The receipts reflect amount paid through stripe
So if you have an invoice with a paid status and an amount paid = 0 with some remainaing, you know it was paid out of band
that essentially renders the invoice receipts useless...
and is really confusing to customers
where can i submit a request to change this

this is a pretty bad customer experience IMO
to have invoices marked as paid but show a balance on the receipt
just seems really counterintuitive
