I'm using this information as a way to mark certain transfers as "fulfilled" or "not yet fulfilled", as I've noticed we have maybe 10%-15% of connected Express accounts with payouts that fail despite successful transfers. Since some of these Express accounts are in different currencies, and the transfer occurs in USD while the payout occurs in the Express account's local currency, it's not easy for me to see a payout.paid webhook and identify exactly which transfers made up that successful payout.
But if this assumption holds then I can say "all past successful transfers have been fulfilled" and just leave it at that
Are you using Automatic Payout or Manual Payout?
Automatic, I think.
At least for the account in question, those are all automatic payouts, and we haven't treated that account any different than the others. So I think that means we're using Automatic for all
AFAIK Automatic Payout will take whatever amount in the balance on its scheduled day, and try to payout all. Not sure if there is a threshold setting. You would want to clarify with Support team
