Do you use destination charges or direct charges?

weak belfry
#

can you pls elaborate a bit

#

can you give answer in regard to both?

It's important to know the fund flow you are using with connect

#

That should be one of the first steps you do when integrating connect

#

They're very different and have distinct pros and cons

#

And the fund flow determines a lot

weak belfry
#

confirming just a moment pls

#

we are using direct charges

last saddle
#

So with direct charges, you create payments on the connect account directly, so its payment method settings will be used

#

You need to enable the relevant PMs on the connect accounts

weak belfry
#

both on the platform and on the connected account PMs should be enabled?

last saddle
#

Up to you

#

Do you also need them for payments on your platform?

weak belfry
#

only on the coonected account.

last saddle
#

Then just enable them on your connect account

weak belfry
#

ok. so the conclusion is: if we want payment on connected account then we'll just have PMs enable on connected account and if we want payment through them on our platform we need to enable it there also. right?

#

Correct

#

If you indeed are using direct charges

#

W/ direct charges the connect account's enabled payment methods are used

weak belfry
#

but i'm unable to see PM on my oayment elemnt. both affirm and klarna are enabled.

Unfortunately BNPL payment methods do not support being saved for future use so they cannot be used with SetupIntents

#

can you suggest a solution?

#

If you tell me more about your situation I can help think of a workaround
