Hi đź‘‹
What specific element of the iOS SDK are you referring to here?
Please don't just send screenshots. They don't help
The identity flow
How to customize the flow? settings in dashboard we have set to our branding
Can you point me to the docs you are referring to?
And
Before you begin
Activate your account.
Fill out your Stripe Identity application.
(Optional) Customize your brand settings on the branding settings page.
And you are saying the settings in your branding page are not being picked up?
Right and I'm trying to help. So can you put in a breakpoint and provide me with the session id?
Yeah
“sessionId”: “vs_1O2FdNDXvnmql2ab10CwXBPn”,
“ephemeralKeySecret”: “ek_test_YWNjdF8xTXdnNjhEWHZubXFsMmFiLFRDWlRsZ0ZZMXdQb0x4cmlsZ1NKTjNmSUxQN1R2UXk_00rDXXBFob”
This verification was created in Test mode. And when I look at your branding settings for Identity I don't see any changes being shown.
When I test this in my own account the branding settings do not get applied in Test mode
So, It’s only applied in live integration?
- The branding isn't very dramatic for the Identity verification.
- You can test this by going to the dashboard, looking at the branding page, and selecting the Identity preview. Toggle between Test & Live.
- Your account details don't seem to be picked up
I notice that on the Identity preview, the preview does not include your business name
How can we test iOS Sdk at the branding page?
Settings that affect live integration are hidden in test mode
I found this one ⬆️
The Identity verification session is the only thing that is rendered in the iOS SDK and I don't see a clear way to test this in the iOS SDK. But you should still see your business name in the Identity Verification. Does the verification session refer to your business as Rocket Rides when it renders?
Yeah it renders, and I we see our business name
Okay so perhaps the Preview feature in the Dashboard is just not presenting properly
All flow with brand color, accent color doesn’t showing in test mode
When I preview the Identity verification screen, I only see the Accent Color applied to the button.
When you select one of the options in the top, does that change the Submit button applied?
Yeah it’s working
But the color applied isn't the accent color from your branding?
Unfortunately this isn't something I can help with here. There isn't anything in the iOS SDK or how you are creating the verification session that you can configure to apply the branding styles.
Maybe we can have consultation with support from dev team about that?
I recommend you write in to Support https://support.stripe.com/contact and tell them specifically the error you are seeing (iOS verification session not applying branding styles, works in webview). I recommend you include an example verification session ID as well as a sample of the Swift code used.
Including these details will help route your request for support to the correct teams
