I found the similar issue in flutter_stripe github but the developer advice to create a ticket on stripe-react-native

I think that comment is quiet explicit, you shouldn't run that logic in background, currently that's not supported

If you think this isn't the issue behind, I invite you to reproduce it on the sample project, and share with me the reproductions steps

If I can reproduce, Stripe developer will fix it? if not and you confirm the process shouldn't run in background. I will report my customer with this message

If the desired behavior is to run the logic in the background, that's not currently supported

yes. I agree with that. But It has no way to prevent user to click home icon on they device.
