Hi there 👋 can you share more about your concern here?
Are you using a Shopify built and provided integration? As far as I'm aware, ShopPay is exclusive to Shopify.
@valid parrot sure, so my iphone is seeing apple pay fine using the stripe element, but an employees phone with same safari version (but promax 13) isn't seeing it on stripe element
but he does see it on shopify, so its something localized to the element
Our checks for Apple Pay make sure that a card is in the Apple Pay wallet, do they have one added to their Apple Pay wallet?
yes, 100%. he uses it all the time
Hm, the only other thing I would think of that may cause them to see Link there, instead of Apple Pay, is if they used Link previously and still have active cookies for it. Otherwise I'd suspect it to be something about Apple Pay not being set up on the device correctly, but if they use it all the time that doesn't sound right.
One sec, let me ask him for a screengrab of the cards stored on his device
honestly doubt its link because this is his experience in checkout
link doesnt even show there (we dont have it enabled although we are using it for the email element)
paypal is done directly via their js
Oh, I thought the button at the top was the Express Checkout Element, if it isn't then I don't see anything on that page that would expect to surface Link. Not sure if you have a payment element further down or something, but if you don't have link enabled for your flows then it won't surface, even for people who have used Link previously.
Yes it is the express checkout element
you can check it out here - https://getringobottle.com/offer-01/
Ringo - The MagSafe® Water Bottle
(we're just not doing paypal through it)
I'm so confused. The Express Checkout Element, that you aren't doing PayPal through, is the button at the top of the page showing PayPal?
Has your user tried clearing their cookies and cache?
Ok sorry, so here's his stored card
We are using both Express Checkout Element + PayPal's JS directrly
Okay, can we take a step back? I don't understand what the concern you're trying to troubleshoot is. I can't tell if you're testing the Payment Request Button, the Express Checkout Element, or something else.
