Hi there!
How are you accepting payments? Checkout Session, Payment Element, something else?
I use Next js and in the pages folder I created a page pay where there is a component <Elements> and in it children component where the main logic <PaymentRequestButtonElement> is located.
this is children component
Got it, so you are using the PaymentRequestButtonElement, and you don't see either Google Pay or Apple Pay on your page?
For Google Pay:
- Are you using Google Chrome?
- do you have a card saved in your Google Wallet?
- Are you using httpS?
- Are you based in India?
yes
yes i use google chrome but i also watched safari at the same time and yes i use https thanks to ngrok and yes i have a saved google wallet, no i am not in india but in kazakhstan.
So you have a card in pay.google.com?
Also can you tell me what button do you see at the very top of this page? https://stripe.com/docs/stripe-js/elements/payment-request-button
So you do see Google Pay there.
Yes, I connected my bank card to pay google.
Do you have a public url where I would reproduce your issue?
Yes but I can't identify the problem on my side, maybe I'm using the wrong configuration?
Thanks! Give me a few minutes to look into this.
I do see Google Pay on this page when using Chrome
And Apple Pay on Safari
So everything looks correct.
I can't believe my country won't let me watch this.
can you send me a screenshot of what you saw?
please, it's very important for my project
it's just a black page, with at the very top either the Google Pay button or Apple Pay button in black.
Happy to help 🙂
