Depends on whether you are creating your subscriptions on your platform account or on your connected accounts.
If you are creating them on your platform account, you can use the customer portal as normal
what if i am creating it on the connect account??
If you create it on your connected accounts, you will need to specify the StripeAccount header when creating your portal sessions https://stripe.com/docs/api/connected_accounts

how do you create a portal then??
This doc covers that https://stripe.com/docs/customer-management/integrate-customer-portal
i see this error
You can’t create a portal session in test mode until you save your customer portal settings in test mode at https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/settings/billing/portal.
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
Ah gotcha, good catch on the error. Let me know if you see anything after you save those settings
Oh apologies, forgot about the connect angle
Can you send me the ID of the request where you got this error? (req_123)
Checking how these settings have to be set, you may have to make portal configurations via the API or something https://stripe.com/docs/api/customer_portal/configuration

or something??
I am not immediately sure and need to look further
I was trying to express uncertainty
okay, i think the reason i get that error is because those customers belongs to stripe connect account. Is it possible you help look into how to resolve this in test mode??
Yes, I am looking in to how to resolve this. The solution should work in test and live mode
Can you send me the ID of the request where you got this error? (req_123)
there is no request id
Can you send me your account ID? (acct_1234)
And the account ID of the account that you tried to make the portal session on?
acct_1O0UFyPE6EtcoBmD
?
Apologies, I thought you were going to send the second ID that I asked for and got distracted in other threads while waiting
I see this failed request to make a customer portal session
