yep they bought it from another competitor that also uses stripe to process payments as we do

yes exactly!

and the other company made some sort of customisation that we cannot get past that and cannot set it up in our system even though the customer paid for it

Not sure what you mean by "some sort of customization"

If it is a Stripe Terminal device then it should basically just work

#

All you need to do is register it on the new account

They can't get any further than this screen. Do you know the process please of how he can de-register it from their old provider?

Yep that is indeed what they would need to do. Which part are they unable to follow exactly? Accessing the settings?

I will tell them now to swipe to the right from teh left edge of the screen.

We only used a simulator to build this feature so we're not aware of how the physical reader works

is there any way as well to remove that background? it looks like the reader is customised with the previous company branding I don't know if that would affect something in the functionality?
