Hi 👋 when updating the annual subscriptions, are you moving them from a yearly price to a monthly price? Our system will automatically move the subscription to the next billing period and generate an invoice if a subscription update causes its underlying billing frequency to change.
Thanks Toby, no, the billing start and end are unchanged and the new price object is an annual one (59.99 instead of 54.40 GBP)
Oh, wait... the new price is set to £59.99 "per year", whereas the original price I see now is actually set to "54.40 GBP every 365 days" would that explain this behavior?
Ah, yup, I think that would do it. Those are technically different billing cycles (after enough leap years they would drift apart).
If you'd rather go to the per-year price, you can use Subscription Schedules to schedule the price update to happen at the end of the current billing period:

Thanks a lot Toby. Yeah, I have schedules as my back-up plan if I can't get this quick and dirty way to fly first! Much obliged.
