Hi 👋 can you elaborate on what the issue you're seeing is? Are you encountering an error of some sort?
hi Toby, Here is the error message
"No valid payment method types for this configuration. Please ensure that you have activated payment methods compatible with your chosen currency in your dashboard (https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods) and invoice settings (https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/invoice) and that the amount (19700) is not lower than the currency (usd) minimum: https://stripe.com/docs/currencies#minimum-and-maximum-charge-amounts."
type: "validation_error"
Hm, that's odd that it would work for payments but not subscriptions. The only thing readily coming to mind, is that maybe all payment methods have been disabled in your Invoice template settings.
If you check your Invoice template settings:
https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/invoice
what do see listed under Payment methods?
We face this issue only in two accounts. it is working normally in other stripe account.
I don't have access to those settings. Btw let me connect with the customer and collect the information. What are the values required there?
Or can you check form your side ? Here is the account ID: acct_1JJKH3Iy98BCvyIa
Sorry, I'm a little confused, is this not a question about your account and integration?
This account is connected using stripe connect. So i could not find the payment method settings there
Oh, so you're a platform, and that's one of your clients/customers? I think you will need to work with them to get to the bottom of this.
In Subscription mode, the deferred intents flow for the Payment Element displays payment method types that are enabled in both the Invoice template settings, and the Payment Methods. You may be controlling payment methods for your users, but I believe they retain control over their invoice template settings.
My suspicion here is that there isn't sufficient overlap between those two sets of settings for any payment method types to be available for this connected account.
Yes, It is a platform. The customer can easily connect their Stripe account to our portal. And we access their account using the main account. but this setting is not showing there. So we might contact customer care. right?
You can contact your customer and review their settings with them. They're the ones that would need to change the settings anyway, which is why I would recommend working with them.
