In the connected account view however it does not show that it debits negative balances as it does in the US accounts with external ACH accounts
What does it show exactly?

Nothing. In the US/ACH connected account it shows as on the image. In the EU/SEPA account it does not show that information.

The Activity Overview of US/ACH connected accounts shows that "Debit negatives balances: On" while the EU/SEPA accounts it does not show that messages. However, the API returns "debit_negative_balances"=true in both accounts when retrieving them through the API
