Hey @mystic jasper! Sending raw card details is blocked by default. Unless your company went through layers of compliance to get PCI compliant you really shouldn't be using something like this.
I don't really understand the context of what you are doing unfortunately. Are you the developer writing the integration here? If not and you use some prebuilt component you need to chat with the company that owns your integration really
Ok thanks, i've been doing that for a month now. It is a prebuilt integration in Formstack for Salesforce that offers Stripe as a payment processor in their Checkout. Formstack support doesn't seem to know why this keeps happening and Stripe support has been utterly useless
Yeah unfortunately the issue is exactly what's outlined in the error message. The way their integration is built likely requires sending raw card details server-side, which has real PCI compliance implications and puts your business at risk
You can request access at the clear link at the end of the message: https://support.stripe.com/questions/enabling-access-to-raw-card-data-apis
But that puts the onus on you to handle all PCI compliance in that case
Yeah it seems like they should know better, that's the whole point of having a payment processor
I mean the problem here is that you seem to have intermediaries between you and Stripe unfortunately
Yeah, and Stripe won't even acknowledge that. Anyway thanks for the help. I'm going to keep digging. Probably going to have go with a different payment processor
