@warm crow We always create Invoices. If you have billing_cycle_anchor then we calculate proration upfront for the partial period and then we'll create a new Invoice on that date, that's just how Subscriptions work

So do you think that if I want to create a Subscription, but don't want the customer to be billing yet, the best approach could be to use a SubscriptionSchedule?
