Im trying to make a form like this for user to add their card details:

#

@red citrus I've tried but it seems the customization ability is limited?

red citrus
#

Yeah but that's the most you can do

#

You can try tweaking it to get as close as possible

restive dome
#

if I wanted to make it like the one in the image I just sent would I need to use raw card data api?

#

and then acquire PCI compliance?

#

so is it impossible for me to achieve the design with elements and only using raw card data api ?

red citrus
#

The appearance api is what you should do for styling

#

If you are unable to style it the way you like with the appearance api, then you're correct

restive dome
#

is it really that difficult to get PCI compliance btw?

red citrus
#

Yeah it is

#

That's why I just recommend trying this with the appearance api

I found online there are services which people help you get PCI compliant for about $100, this leads me to believe it is possible?

red citrus
#

I can't comment on that

#

We're not pci compliance experts

#

We just help people with the stripe api

restive dome
#

Are you instructed to tell people that PCI compliance is difficult? or is that from personal experience?

#

because it is confusing me slightly

#

in the fact that I am limited to the stripe elements which does not fit in with the design of my website at all

#

even with styling options it looks out of place.

red citrus
#

I can't comment further on it because I have no experience being pci compliant

#

It's just complicated legally

#

And we handle all of it for you via the payment element

#

If you want to go the route of becoming pci compliant yourself, by all means go for it
