If we could edit it to say something specific that would work. If we could dynamically make it so that it can include the description of the customer transaction object that affected the total that would be something we'd want to consider too.

Sorry, I just realized the second sentence above doesn't make sense given how the balance object works

So if we could change the label from "Applied Balance" to another string that would be what we are looking for

Unfortunately it does not look like there is a way to manipulate that string. You can specify a custom memo, so you may be able to clarify info about these balances in the memo though I do understand the UI may not be what you want https://stripe.com/docs/api/invoices/object#invoice_object-description
