When I am running the Discover Readers this is able to find the Handset. But then wehn I run ConnectReader its failing to connect

So if you are using the Terminal JS SDK then yes they have to be on the same network. What you likely want to look into here is using the Server-driven integration: https://stripe.com/docs/terminal/payments/connect-reader?terminal-sdk-platform=server-driven&reader-type=internet

Ah I thought that would have been what's happened as its all connecting through the PHP side of things alongside the JS SDK. Ok i'll have a look into this now.

You would only be calling connectReader() if you are using the JS SDK

So yeah, take a look at server-driven. It is the recommended path as you avoid a bunch of the networking issues.

I'm a fool. I had our terminal connected to the 'Guest' Wifi and my Testing station on the Private 🤦‍♂️ Its all working as expected
