No you shouldn't use a custom form
Otherwise you are going to be subject to higher PCI Compliance requirements
So our recommendation is to use Elements so that we take care of the PCI Compliance for you

I'd like to take care of the PCI compliance myself, is that possible?
I can't use the stripe payment elements as the design is not what Im looking for.
Im sure there are other services out there using stripe which don't use stripe elements?
