Yep, that's expected. We don't enforce email uniqueness for Customer objects

Ah, yeah the Search API isn't available to Indian merchants: https://stripe.com/docs/search#limitations

I guess you'd need to use this endpoint: https://stripe.com/docs/api/customers/list#list_customers-email
