Hi, so in our testing enviroment we create connect account with test keys. Now trying to test apple pay and are following the guide https://support.stripe.com/questions/setting-up-apple-pay-for-direct-charges-on-standard-connected-accounts

We registered the domain (req_ulBflpurcLPF7I) but still get domain not verified. I believe this is due to the fact that we are using test keys and the domain verification requires live mode to be enabled

No, domain registration is not related to Live/Test mode.

are you certain? In the guideI shared above it seems to state the importance of being in live mode The Apple domain for the connected account must be registered by you (the platform) using your Live mode key.

Oh, correct, if you're using Connect you will need to do this with the Live key. Sorry for confusion.

no worries but we solely use live key only for production as it's real data

but this basically means it's the only way to verify this works?

You can use your Live key once in development to try register the domain and see how it works. In production you will use the Live mode key anyway.
