Can you share more details? Did this just start happening or have you always noticed this delay? Do you have a link to a test environment where I can try to reproduce?

I always notice this delay. In order to reproduce it just load the Payment button with a PaymentElement and ExpressCheckoutElement

This happens on first render and if I mout/unmount the form

I'm not able to reproduce this on my end. Rendering the Paypal button doesn't take long at all. If you have a test environment you can link to where I can try to reproduce, please share it here.

Unfortunately, I don't have a test environment. I use stripe in debug mode right now, is there a delay in Paypal sandbox?
