As far as I know you can't add custom fields to an email receipt.

You suggest exporting from stripe and then just recreating one with custom software?

Yeah, if you need custom content in the email receipt beyond the description on the payment you need to turn off our receipts and send your own.

I'm just asking about the receipts. I updated the customer billing information but it won't show up on the receipt

Correct, billing info doesn't show up on receipts.
