Yes
Could you please share the Checkout URL?
Where did you enable the GPay?
The Checkout Session is on checkout.stripe.com so it's not the domain issue. Let me check...
Okay.
Sorry, I still need a moment
Yes, Please go ahead
are you located in India?
we don't support Google Pay if your IP is located in India https://support.stripe.com/questions/supported-payment-methods-currencies-and-businesses-for-stripe-accounts-in-india
yes, in India only
But my team members are outside india and they are also not able to see gpay
Please help me on priority as we need this to be sorted urgently. Client is waiting for this
can you create a new CheckoutSession and see if it works now, and then also share a link to that new CheckoutSession?
Yes, please
Can you create a new Checkout Session without passing a customer ID? In the example above the customer payment method were pre-filled, and in this case we don't display Google or Apple Pay.
ok, let me try.
Thanks! Give me a few minutes to look into this.
Sorry for the delay. So actually Google/Apple Pay is not available for Indian merchants, as explained here: https://support.stripe.com/questions/supported-payment-methods-currencies-and-businesses-for-stripe-accounts-in-india#:~:text=Google Pay and Apple Pay unavailable for merchants and customers in India on Stripe Checkout and Stripe Elements
But my account is not Indian
My Stripe account was created outside India
and even my colleagues are testing this from outside India.
In that case it should work, right?
Can you share your account ID (acct_xxx)? It's at the top of this page: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/account
acct_1Njxn5SDquh2nkUA
I just checked and this is an Indian account.
You can see the country here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/account
So shall i change the country and will it work?
Yes, but I think you'll need to create a new account in order to change the country.
