To clarify, you are saying that when attempting to add a US Bank Account PM via the Customer Portal it only allows for instant verification instead of manual entry + microdeposits?
Normally there is a little link that says: Enter bank details manually?

Thank you! I know that Stripe Checkout allows for the ability for that to be toggled on an off. By default, both are allowed using Checkout. I am not sure why the customer portal defaults to not allowing it/not allowing it at all from the looks of it.

We only support Instant Verification here for adding a PM through Customer Portal

Do you know if someone adds a payment method manually using checkout, that requires micro deposit verification, whether they can verify the PM in the customer portal?
I believe the reasoning has to do with folks not necessarily being set up to handle microdeposit verification via these hosted flows. But overall I'm not 100% sure. I can file some feedback internally though to request that the feature is added and to find out more about the reasoning.
