Hi
In general for setting statement descriptor with connect I invite you to check this guide:
https://stripe.com/docs/connect/statement-descriptors
However for some cases, there can be some issues in the bank network for mapping the final computed stripe statement descriptor
In that case, Stripe has no control over the mapping systems banks and card issuers use to produce friendly names for their cardholders.
OK but is there something I can do about this ?
For example, I had an account who represents an Individual Company, they don't have a websit so I provided their linkedin page as webpage (as instructed by stripe) but now the descriptor indicates "linkedin.com" which has nothing to do with what the customer paid and is extremely confusing
👋 taking over for my colleague. Let me catch up.
would you mind sharing any PaymentIntent ID or a request ID to take a quick look?
