@placid orbit Checkout is totally fine for this yes. It's to accept payments. But you have to build a lot more of this yourself like tracking job completion, funds availability, handling refunds, etc.

ok last question. I see how to add funds to customer account (refunds) but I dont see where we pay connected accounts

You pay Connected Accounts by creating Transfers

Sounds like you want Separate Charges & Transfers here: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/charges-transfers if you want to hold funds and then Transfer them later.

Though to be aware this has some region restrictions
