Are you getting an error when trying to create a refund for a payment that is still pending? For some reason I thought that we allowed that

If you need to wait for the payment to succeed, the standard payment_intent.succeeded and payment_intent.payment_failed webhooks will be able to tell you the outcome of the pending payment

Not sure what you mean by that. Are you getting an error when you try to refund the payment?
