Hello! What kind of reader are you working with?

I believe you should be able to find the IP address under the Network/Wifi settings on the device (we have instructions on how to access those settings here https://stripe.com/docs/terminal/payments/setup-reader/bbpos-wisepos-e#settings)

thanks, i looked there..

realizing i said "published IP address" in my first message, but i meant the published dns name the api uses to connect to the reader

Ah, gotcha - let me try and remember how you can grab that one

I feel like there must be an easier way to get it, but the only way I can find right now is to look at the console logs/error message from connectReader (which sould include the host it's trying to connect to)
