there is not, it's a hard requirement. Apple will specifically call your domain and look for a file at that exact URL,and that is the only way they support to verify the domain and allow their wallet button to appear on a site

I have spoken to a few merchants trying to get this to work with Google Sites and I don't think it's ever ended too well, a lot of these sort of website-builders don't let you customise the hosting enough
