No, if the Subscription Schedule is cancelled, the Subscription is cancelled too.
Right, so is that the key difference between the two behaviours?
A cancelled sub schedule also cancels the sub, whereas releasing the schedule simply detaches it from the sub and leaves the sub in whatever state it was in at the time?
Releasing is transforming a Sub Schedule into a normal Subscription.
Are they not two separate resources?
The way I understand it at the moment, you have a subscription resource, and then you can associate a subscription schedule (which has phases) to manage any changes to that subscription.
Is my understanding correct?
Is it instead that the subscription_schedule resource replaces the subscription, and then when it is released, a subscription is created in its place?
They are not entirely separate.
