@thick portal Depends a lo on your integration here but if you use Separate Charges and Transfers then the funds would be in the platform's balance and paid out on Oct 1st.
Really platforms in your situation should either hold the funds on the connected account's balance (better) or be on manual Payouts instead to hold their own balance

If I have manual payout set for the platform account. How do I know how much to payout because there are difference processing fees for different scenarios? I don't know the processing fees until it has been processed. Is there a way to confirm processing fees before redirecting to a checkout session?
No there isn't a way to do that since you don't know the payment method they will use to pay
If you are on manual Payouts then nothing will be paid out so I don't really get your question
If I don't payout the funds for 90 days for a platform canadian bank account, what happens to the funds in the platform account?
nothing, they stay but you get in trouble
What kind of trouble?
so mostly don't, make sure you keep track of your funds and pay out in time
Well you're breaking our rules and some money movement compliance/regulations so we'd tell you to stop or we would have to offboard your account
This Discord server is more for developers asking questions about their own code/integration though. Your questions seem more related to compliance and what you can and can't do with escrow accounts which are regulated and you likely should speak to our support team instead: https://support.stripe.com/contact
That is the issue, I am trying to calculate the processing fees a head of time so I know how much to payout from the platform account and when to payout
that doesn't really make sense to me. Why are you calculating a payout before the payment instead of after it succeeds?
Also as a platform usually you would have your own pricing scheme, like 5% of transactions separate from what we (Stripe) charge you
I am calculating the remaining about after processing fees and the transfer to a connect account. The remaining amount will be what it paid out to our platform bank account.
I would have to do that to ensure I payout the correct amount
1/ Charge $10
2/ After the payment, look at how much net you got and decide how much to transfer to that connected account
