We think it’s something to do with the fact we have an expensive product

And charging 1000 dollars in one go

Gets blocked by the card provider

And or clients don’t have enough funds

Thanks for sharing the example charges. The records showed that these are the declined from the card issuing banks that Stripe has no control with. Since the card has insufficient funds or being declined, no fund can be deducted from the customer's payment method. Your system should handle the situations when the payment failures occurred such as stopping offering services to the customer
