I don't think auth and capture is the correct flow for this IMO
as 2 months is a long time to hold funds on a payment method.

You could instead store the payment method and charge when the reservation date is near

Subscription is for usecases when you're charging the payment method on a regular interval like $10 monthly or yearly etc
