Ok to give a little context I received an invoice upcoming event on 8th september(as per my previous setting of 7 days) today I changed the setting to 3 days so will i receive the event again today for a invoice that will be created on 15?

I'm not sure about that honestly because you've changed the settings today which is already ~3 days before the renewal.

as per the 3 day setting i still have 6-7hours untill i receive the event

I invite you to wait then for this particular invoices. But for other invoices you'll receive an event 3 days before (like you were getting an event 7 days before, previously)
