Hello! Can you show me ascreenshot of what you're looking at?
I no longer see the box since I disabled Cash App.
I disabled it because every customer that selects it does not go through with payment. So I was wondering if there was something wrong with my integration.
I don't have cash app so I'm unable to fully test the integration, but I see the QR code when I select the method and click next. Should this be enough?
Yes that should be enough
Ok. So is that announcement box just shown to everyone, regardless of if they have it enabled already or not?
It was making me think that maybe I was missing something, which would have explained why no one is actually checking out with it.
It really depends on which payment/checkout flow you're talking about - if you're using automatic payment methods and you have it enabled in your dashboard (https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods) then yes, it'd show up automatically for payments that are relevant
But if you're using something like the hosted invoice page, I believe you'd have to make sure cash app is explicitiy enabled in the invoice template
yes I'm using auto payment methods.
The reason I'm asking this is because I know that your API docs and other parts of the your site are smart and they're always looking at my data to provide examples.
So I thought that seeing that box meant I hadn't properly set it up. But maybe that box was just an ad? I should have taken a screenshot...
I wonder if other merchants also have really low conversion with this method, or if it's just me. Maybe users are expecting to see a QR code immediately without having to click next?
I guess this isn't really a dev question, so I'll stop wasting your time. Thanks for your help! 🙂
Sorry I don't have more concrete answers for you
