Hi 👋
I'm sure you have reviewed our suite of testing data and scenarios for Connect here: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/testing
The best way I can think of to test this would be to request additional capabilities for your test account after it has successfully onboarded.
Got it. We won't really be allowing additional capabilities on these accounts.. but at least this will help with understanding the flow should we want to.
Exactly
This kind of leads to another question. If we're onboarding "individual" type accounts only, and collecting bank account info in the onboarding process with upfront onboarding, is there really any potential for eventually due requirements to pop up for US only accounts?
What are the possible events that might cause this, just for our knowledege.
Since we are focused on specifically the APIs and how to integrate with them I am not 100% certain about this (it's an internal process). However, I think we do trigger some checks after a certain payment volume threshold.
Another way you could trigger the requirements updates would be to update the Identity associated with the Account using one of our test Dates of Birth here: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/testing#test-dobs
Okay, thanks for the information!
