Have you been talking to Dokan about this or are you in control of the code? This is something the platform account would have to change on their end
Yes we are in control of the code and have spoken to Dokan but because they do Multi User thats why Direct Charges - is not supported.
As the issue we have is this if we use: Seperate Charges and Transfers, it means the Platform is reliable for "Refunds" not the Seller
so we where going to turn on Single Seller Mode - which they support, just need to somehow change the code to use Direct Charges
Just to be clear - are you a platform account that wants to use direct charges with your own connected accounts?

This isn't a "mode" that you can quickly change in your code - you're going to need to rewrite your integration since this is likely to break a lot of things (all charges are going to be on the connect accounts now, webhook events will be on connect accounts, etc)
Okay so the question i have is, how do other people do it? because surely loads of people do not want to as a platform do not want to be responsible for refunds ?
A lot of folks do actually want separate charges and transfers and accept the resposiblity of being responsbile for the refunds - it really depends on your business model
Yh the issue is this if say a seller does a runner
the platform is responsible to sort the refund
because the seller has no funds in there stripe account
Yes, but as a platform you have control over when/how often express/custom accounts can pay out their funds
