Hi there, how can I help?
Hey, good, how about you
I'm great, how can I help?
so the url I provided above, I am not quite sure how this table works. not quite sure I understand
Maybe you can tell me the problem that you want to solve, so that I can come up with a solution for you
i was just going through this whole page to understand tiered pricing and this table kind of confused me. I understand that with volume pricing, the quantity is multiplied by the amount associated with the tier the user is on at the end of the cycle. Is that correct
am not quite sure I understand what this table is explaining
is the total column arrived based on this tiers?
if that is the case, then that is wrong.
for quantity 5 the total should be 35 not 25
for quantity 6 the total should be 39 and not 24
Can you share with me your subscription ID?
no, the above code I shared is on this page https://stripe.com/docs/products-prices/pricing-models#volume-based-pricing
i am just trying to understand that table and I think the total's are incorrect on that table or I am missing something
Under volume-based pricing, a customer with 5 projects is charged 35 USD at the end of the period: 7 USD for each of the 5 projects. However, if they accumulate 6 projects the following month, then all projects are billed at the 6-10 rate. That month, they’re charged 39 USD (6.50 × 6).
I believe the doc has explained very clear.
The best way to understand the API is to try it out yourself.
so, are the totals on that table incorrect?
I'd suggest you to follow guide and try out the sample code
Feel free to come back if you have a more specific question
ok
Yes, the table looks strange to me, thanks for flagging it out, and I'd feed back to the relevant team
