Hello! I believe with SEPA subscriptions the Subscription will transfer from incomplete -> past_due when the underlying payment intent transitions to processing and then when the payment finally transitions to successful the Subscription will become active

Generally, I wouldn't recommend using pending updates for a paymetn method type like sepa (because of the long processing time like you described)

Gotcha. So it would still take up to 14 days for the payment intent to move from processing to succeeded if it succeeds or requires_payment_method if it fails?
