Good question. The only way I am aware of to send funds back like that would be by issuing a refund though I am unsure whether it is possible to issue a refund after that long. Checking further in to all of this and will get back to you

It looks like refunds for ACH specifically can only happen within 180 days of the original payment and unfortunately I am not immediately seeing another way to send funds back for these payment methods. https://support.stripe.com/questions/refunds-for-ach-direct-debit-payments

I would reccommend reaching out to support team to ask about your options more generally on this. I have heard of platforms for renters existing on Stripe but I am not immediately aware of how they handle this. https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true
