so unless there's a 3DS required for an invoice the email won't be sent in live mode

this process is tested by Stripe so you don't have to test it yourself

that's normal because the email isn't sent and the action is not complete

if you want to authenticate the PaymentIntent in this case, you can create a frontend page where you pass in the PaymentIntent secret to the Payment Element and use https://stripe.com/docs/js/payment_intents/handle_next_action
